Our Purpose and Inspiration
Located in Northwest Italy, Menorah Mission School is an evangelism training center for lay people. Through theoretical classes and practical activities, our course is designed to provide students with knowledge in biblical and health topics and experience in the mission field.
Menorah Mission School has been founded in 2015 by a group of Seventh-day Adventists who attended other mission training programs in past years. These experiences sparked in them the desire to establish a mission school to inspire and train lay people to be effective workers for God.
It is our aim that our graduates become active resources in God's service, spreading the light of the everlasting Gospel, and preparing people for Christ’s second coming.
Menorah Mission School fully supports the spiritual mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, operating as a self-supporting ministry, not controlled by or legally affiliated to it.
Our Mission Statement
Kindle the flame. Keep it burning. Light up the world.
Our Logo
Our logo has been designed with two components, a Menorah and a Bible. Menorah is the Hebrew word for the seven-branched candlestick which was located in the sanctuary the Lord asked the Israelites to build (see Exodus 25:31). It was the source of light in the sanctuary.
The school’s name is biblically symbolic. The theme of light runs throughout the Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation. The Word of God itself is compared to a lamp and a light (see Psalm 119:105).
In Zechariah 4, the Menorah is a symbol of God's people doing His work in the power of the Holy Spirit, represented by the oil feeding the seven lamps. Jesus is the Light of the world and we can be lights as we reflect His character. He said to His disciples: “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14, NKJV).
The world is in need of seeing the true picture of God's character portrayed in the life and message of Christ's disciples.
The knowledge of His glory will fill the earth as it is prophesied in the book of Revelation: “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory” (Revelation 18:1, NKJV).
It is our privilege and opportunity to play a part in God's great plan of redemption for humanity: “With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world” (“Education”, page 271).
